Upgrading head

The Martini remark was that I had a clear head.
I did not edit out the person I was quoting. That is how it showed up in my reply box. Is there a setting for that?

Funny it seems to be there on this. Trust me, I did not edit out who I was quoting. Computer has been doing funny things today, spell check said "quoting" was a misspelling and no offer close on a correction.

The speed changer has two ranges. Belt changes are only required for changing the RANGE. Spindle speeds available are 250 - 1600 and 1850 - 6800. The Mark 5/V headstocks only range from 700 - 5200.

Above is the way I would have done it. The three dots ( . . . ) indicate that text has been removed from the quote of the original post.

Notice I uncorrected it. The 250 s/b 425 to be accurate.

Compare the original post by thee Michael to the one above. You did not leave in the 'quote="JPG"' header etc.

P.S. the ending delimiter "/quote" is also necessary and has to be in the proper place.

I love all here, but I have bigger fish to fry then to worry about some quote thing.
I got a Prime Rib in the oven, potatoes to make along with Brussels Sprouts and S A Asparagus, time it and get mom to the dinner table.
I promise I will try to do better in the future.

It is more about understanding the effect of what one does when editing a quote than being worrisome.

This has already gone too far, but, Michael thee did. Repeating part of an earlier post although technically not 'editing a quote' is equivalent since it appears so. Point being it confused folks.

Thank you all for your thoughts. I did see somewhere using the motor from a tread mill in place of the original motor. These DC motors, along with the appropriate controllers are available on ebay for around $125.
Anybody familiar with this conversion?
