Greenie, Grayling, SS stand alone BS and BS SPT, jointer and belt sander, 3 Ers with Speed Changers. I think those 3 cover my ER needs, and space for them.

There are many good ones here, got to be PC correct, but you are one of the few and the proud.

Thank you

I hope are newbie ER person got something out of it.
I did a super favor for a newbie ER person here from NY State and have heard nothing here since.

Re: 10ER guidance/videos
Speaking of brave or what.
When I first got the 10ER which I gave to my brother it needed a few things and I of course had to check it out to make sure everything was working and do a few repairs........
First time I set it up in drill press mode I noticed just how close my hair came to the pulley system. Maybe just lucky that I set it up with the headstock at the height or what?
When to ebay to find the guard, no way would I use it without or give it with out the guard.
Now if you have changed the pulley sizes the guard may not work but I personally think using things with exposed pulley systems is not a good idea so even a bent piece(s) of sheet metal would be in place on anything I used. Not worth loosing your hair and well other parts over.

Re: 10ER guidance/videos
One very neat thing you can do with an ER is mount it on the wall and use it for a rather nice drill press! Don't have a picture of one setup like that but an old timer I know had done that with his ER. He also had a Mark V 510 (along with a nice batch of other stuff). I sold him my SS 4 inch jointer and, when he explained he was as 88 years old, I agreed to drive it out to his place about 25 miles from here. He gave me a tour of his house and showed the many pieces of nice furniture he had made over the years. That tour was well worth the trip!!
