FIRST - decide how much you can afford to spend!! Then checkout Festool Track Saws.Danielsmith12 wrote:Anyone in this Forum please suggest me best tool woodworking sliding panel saw?

Also check into the EurekaZone track system. The track is much heavier and stronger than most other tracks, including Festool, Dewalt, etc., and you use any circular saw you desire by adding their base to the saw. Their Ultimate Edge Guide is fantastic for ripping sheet goods.

I'll second the Eurekazone (EZSmart) system. It's a very versatile system with endless possibilities. I have enjoyed using their stuff very much.

Before I found Eurekazone, I was considering building something like that. Glad I didn't, the EZ stuff suits my needs much better and is much more flexible in ways to use it. Need to cut something not square, EZ. Need to rip a 1x2 on edge at an angle, EZ and done it. And everything stores away very well.whsewardiv wrote:i "saw" this awhile back...they have a bunch of youtube vids on assembly and use looks good just have to find a way to get it

Re: Which is the best tool woodworking sliding panel saw?
Panel saws are pretty much out of favor now. The newer system of guided (track) saws is a nice choice. I had always wanted a panel saw but it never happened but I did invest in a guide (track) saw system.
The price is going to be hard to take but I'm extremely happy with my Festool set up. Some of the other competitors come close but if you can afford the real thing......... If you do go this way I can point out a few things I think makes things work better.
I have the EurekaZone edge guide system, had high hopes for it but they did not work out. Tried to give it to my son and he didn't like it either so it back hanging on the wall, most likely to never be used by me again. It was a cheap experiment that I had to try. Just didn't work out.

Ed, which edge guide do you have? The current Ultimate Edge Guide or the predecessor (can't remember the name right now)? The early one was awkward to use for those who didn't use it much, but I took right to the UEG.reible wrote:I have the EurekaZone edge guide system, had high hopes for it but they did not work out. I believe it is the newer one, well unless they have a newer one yet. You can see the one I have pictured in this thread:
