Just Waiting No More.

The parts arrived and are exactly what was hoped for.

You should rejoice! Delivered by USPS on Sunday? I thought the only Sunday deliveries were "Special Delivery" which you have to pay extra for.
I hazard a guess that tomorrow is the likely arrival date. ;)

Sunday??????????
Nope, Sunday it was! :)

So you placed the order on the 1'st. You got it on the 5'th. 4 days. What is the problem? That sounds very reasonable to me. Stop worrying about tracking info unless it is really wrong at the end of the day. I have found tracking info has gotten much much better over the years (UPS/FedEx). USPS had a long way to go. I used to get my package before the tracking was updated from the shipper sent it. Not any more.

Nobody ever said there was a problem.

Whose worrying? Just curious.

Not worried either but it is interesting that I placed an order on the 3th of Dec., a sort of week ago. The company acknowledged the order and said they expected it to ship on the 6th. So I went to check on it.

Their site says shipped and gave me a number. When I go to the UPS site to check the status I see that UPS has information that it is ready to ship but that is about it. No sign that it has been picked up by them which from the time stamp more then likely could have happen very late on the 6th or the 7th or the 8th or the 9th and I guess this time of year even on the 10th.

If I'm reading this right then the company still has it sitting in shipping or UPS is hopelessly on their website..........

Again no big deal but at this time of year who knows what goes on.

Now I don't know if any or most of you are aware that the shipping number can be pasted into google search and then click the carrier if you know it.

Sort of like this:

Handy when the company doesn't provide a link just a number.

And again this is not about the wait but about the season.

Maybe it is about the "Left at: UPS Mail Innovations". I just noticed that on a recent package. UPS is tied in with the Post Office in some way. Like the FedEx Smart Post. In my experience the FedEx Smart Post just makes for longer delivery times.

Unless something unexpected happens my item should arrive today.

Here is the latest:

Ordered on the 3rh, they said it shipped on the 6th and I think it really shipped on the 12th. Was this false news? Anyway the latest is that it is out for delivery. Surely not as informative as it could be with some of the terms used.

Yes, looking at the bottom 3 lines. The vendor created the label on the 6th so they told you it "shipped". It entered the UPS system when they picked up the package on the 12th. So it has nothing to do with the shipper. The vendor is the culprit for a false shipping date.
