Almost done!

Almost done with this one. Maple, Walnut and purpleheart. 436 pieces, all cut out on the Powerpro, turned on the Powermatic. Final shaping and sanding, then I'll put on a few coats of Danis Oil and call it a day!

That is one impressive vase! (If it's as big as it looks in the pic, you may soon need to talk to farmer (Robinson) about converting a tractor/wheel into a lathe/faceplate.) This is of those projects that I'm hesitant to show my wife, for fear of my honey-do list growing even longer. :eek:

Shopsmith: 2 Mark V 510 (1988,1993), bandsaw, jointer, mounted planer, belt sander, scroll saw, strip sander, lathe duplicator, conical disc sander, biscuit joiner, free standing router table with Jointech IPM-1
Other stuff: Bosch glide mitre, Ridgid 13" planer, Rikon drill press, routers, drills, and other toys
