The wind blew all night between 15 and 20MPH from the NNW. The snow was coming down horizontally. That is the south end of the deck. The north end of the deck is not covered and has much less snow on it.

We qualified with about an inch. Lots of wind, too. Our dirt/mud roads are frozen. Fun. On the four wheelers.

Well, the storm is over. I think we got about 8". Not unusual but not very common. The sky is clearing and the sun is showing itself out to the west as it starts to set.

We are getting good snow here. The forecast calls for 18" in the next 24-30 hours, but I'm happy with it. That snow isn't causing any problems. a hundred miles east of us they are getting freezing rain that is breaking down the trees and power lines. Rain is really bad this time of year. Snow is nice.

Ya been looking at your radar, you seem to be in the center of it. Sis lives in Egan, MN, a burb of ST Paul, no call today yet, but cell phones usually work if lines are down.
