Ed in Tampa wrote:Well Christmas is here (actually tomorrow) but no catalog. I complained here, wrote an email and still no Shopsmith Catalog. I got one from woodcraft and ordered out of it. I got one from Rockler and ordered out of it. I got one from Lee Valley and will order out of it. Got one from Northern Tool and ordered out of it. One from infinity and I will order from it. Got one from Highland Hardware and ordered from it. Heck I even got one from Home Depot and Lower and both got my business.

If Shopsmith wanted business they would insure every customer would get one.
But if the truth be told after some of the quality problems that people are mentioning lately I don't know if I would have ordered. Too late now!

He doesn't want to look at the catalog, ER. He has what he wants. Something to complain about. For all we know, the mail person is receiving items that he/she ordered using Eds' catalog. If he really wanted to order from Shopsmith, he would have used the online catalog.

You guys miss the point. While I love to look at catalogs I will not deny that. My Christmas presents are ordered from paper catalogs by my wife and adult children.

A paper catalog I can go through and circle everything I want, then they the gift givers can go through them and pick out the ones in their price range.

I got gifts from nearly every business that sent me a catalog.

Told each one that I had a few things picked out on Shopsmith catalog but they would have to get on line to see it. Guess none of my Christmas presents came from an online catalog.

Found out they take the catalogs sit around a table and decide who is going to get Dad what.
