First bowl

Post by boco »

My first attempt at turning anything larger than a pen. Maple and padauk, 10" across and about 1.5" deep. Hardly museum-quality, but it's a start, and I learned a lot in the process.

Boco, I'll let you know when (IF) I make a
bowl that will match yours!

Looks GREAT!

10 ER, stripped down.
Basic 10ER, Parts machine. Will be a semi-dedicated drill-press machine.
10 ER, a "survivor" of the trailer fire, in the back yard, needing restoration. Has a Mk5 headrest. Finally, stripped down.
Numerous parts, for Model 10 stuff. Except for lower saw guard, A and B adapters, I've got it.

Looking for one more, or some 9 inch extension table raisers.

Well done. All this turning going on, I've got to get my butt in gear.

One word of caution, it's addicting!

Just like the model 10 bug bit me years ago, the turning bug bit me too!!!

With "Sharp" tools, it's a lot of fun.....
