this weekend's find - free-standing router table

Post by ecom1 »

I found a SS Free-standing router table (555414), already on casters, with a PC 890 router, Jointech IPM-1 fence, and a separate Incra jig. Next step is to clean it all up, then see how many different ways I can use it :)

So far, I've considered removing the table and seeing if it will mount as a SS extension, then use the cart for a mitre saw. Or alternatively, build a box inside the cart for router accessories. I also want to play with the Jointech fence, and see how easy it is to wap between router and SS table.

Does anyone else have experience (or other ideas) with this?

I have a similar setup but found a Jessem Mast R Slide that fits the incra fence and is a lot better than the right angle fixture for joinery. Also I have the Clean Sweep set up and it does a great job of cleaning up any sawdust. Have mine mounted between two MFT tables so lots of room if needed. Also have the Jessem lift. Love this system.
