Saw blade Heads up

Post by dgreen810 »

I went to Lowe's to get a couple of pieces of 3/4" pipe and cruised through the tool section and found what I thought was a good deal. A package of three Irwin 10" saw blades on Sale. Normally $66.00 for $19.00 less my Military. Couldn't resist as usual. Sucker for a good deal.

Two "Contractors" and one Cross cut, all thin kerf 40 tooth carbide.

That is a great deal. If I wasn't already overstocked on new spare blades, I'd look into it. Right now I have 5 or 6 new blades in packages waiting for their turn to be used when the current one fades away.
I bought a similar set of three Hitachi blades a year or so ago when they were on closeout at Menards. The Hitachi set has a 40tooth, a 60tooth, and an 80tooth blade in it. It is still unopened until I need it.

I saw those this week. I was truly tempted but I have so many blades now. Also I have been putting a lot of money into some other things and am a bit low on wild money until the end of April.
Then again I might soon convince myself that I "may" need them. :o :)
Actually pretty nice looking blades.
