ss-woodcraft demo
I was able to attend the shopsmith demo at the woodcraft store in St. Louis last weekend. Dave Folkerth was the presenter. He is very knowledgeable about all things Shopsmith and took the time to answer all my questions. Thanks again Dave.

I bought my Power Pro head stock and double tilt upgrade from him at Lowe's in Salt Lake City in Dec 2012.drlung wrote:I was able to attend the shopsmith demo at the woodcraft store in St. Louis last weekend. For those that don't know, Dave is the son of John who resurrected Shopsmith in 1971 so he should know everything Shopsmith.

Re: ss-woodcraft demo
I was at the same demo at 9:00 AM. Dave was good at presenting the featured upgrades. He was also a good listener. He picked up on my desires and offered me specific answers. He was energetic, bright and very knowledgeable. Consequently I ordered my Power Pro upgrade on the spot. It will arrive tomorrow. Wish me luck on the install.

I know there have been complaints about shipping in the past. I ordered the universal tool rest from Dave last Saturday afternoon and it arrived at my door Friday afternoon.
