Historically tatoos in the mouth.
Dogs they use to tattoo the ear but now the electronic chips seem to be the way to go. Just wondering about horses. Cats, who cares......

We don't use anything, not even brands. We did have a client horse here that had been freeze branded near the mane by the BLM. It was an adopted wild mustang.
