I don't know nut I suspect that the procedures are not all the same between the 4 different Forum configurations. Which ate you using.
====

???????
How do I check ?

I have read every thing on the forum site from top to bottom ?

Pictures came from a g-3 ,I have noticed when I load pictures on photobucket it also allows the folder to be viewed as a slide show. You can go back and add to or delete the pictures there any time , .

I am only familiar with a forum provided by stintz ..?

It doesnt allow for posting pictures so we use alternate sites to create hyperlinks.

I will double check,,,, however,,,, I am pretty sure I am using a program in the computer called picassa?

Thats all I know about pictures and posting them.

Thanks for the help.

I have tinkered with this a bit since I asked the question and I don't believe the version being used makes a technical difference.

However, when you log in, do you change preferences. One of the options is (preferences) is to select one of four different forum forms.

The choices are: prosilver, shopsmith. shopsmith1 and subsilver2.

I much prefer prosilver.

I just use the default setting .

I will keep playing with this .

I think the upload may be trying to upload all the pictures instead of just one.

Thanks for your help I greatly appreciate it.

FWIW, I was having trouble in the beginning too - then I read a Dusty comment about using a different Forum preference. After I switched to what he was using, I had no trouble posting pics.

No! Only what you select to be uploaded is uploaded.

No matter which format you use, pay close attention to pixel and picture size. The system is unforgiving in that area. Violate the limits and it WILL NOT UPLOAD. In all cases, however, you will get a messge that defines your problem.

The default setting??? What does that happen to be. I have always thought it was the last setting that the user selected.

This is my forum preference and I hardly ever change it.

You have to change the picture size on your computer and then save it in the new size. Then upload it.

I have some rather thick and heavy walnut with live edge that may be a challenge to feed on a angle ,I would rather the table be flat .

One reason I was looking into this is do to stock too wide for most planers.

Please don't look too closely at the messy shop (especially the floors). I have life time collection of tools in a small garage shop and it always looks like this. If I dumped all the buckets that I have sitting around in there, you would not believe what there is that you cannot see.
