The veins are walnut and the leaves are actually maple.

The shopsmith scroll saw performed flawless , It could use a light though.

Very nice work!
Gale's Law: The bigger the woodworking project, the less the mistakes show in any photo taken far enough away to show the entire project!

Nice work. I tried some scroll sawing a while back and gave up. This may inspire me to "give it a go" again.

I have had eye surgery and I now see much, much better than I used to. My hand/eye coordination problems may have been because I could not see what I was doing.
