The radial arm saw that I have had for 40+ years finally died and I replaced it with a 12" compound sliding miter saw. I had just bought a Freud 10" blade for the ras that does great and I have used very little. Can I use it on the tablesaw without it being dangerous?
It is item number LU91R010' ... grind ATB.. kerf .090.. 60T.. Hook Angle -5* ..
Will that hook angle cause kickback or "lift" ? The cross cut blade I am using now is showing its age so I'd sure like to put this $80+ Freud blade to use.

It is WISE that you ask. I don't know because I have never used a RAS but there rings a bell in the back of my head. Something about what is done to the blade to keep it from climbing with used on a RAS.
Have you read whatever Freud says about the blade. They are good about publishing information, especially safety information, for their blades.

I found this page that explains hook angles.

Give it a look and I think that you will find your answer.
