projects you are the most proud of
Projects you are the most proud of ,, I thought a thread of our completed projects would be worth while .
Some of you guys and gals are artist and should show off a little .
Feel free to post your pics on here .
I have to show off this project ,,,,because of the abnormality in the limb when I cut the tree down ,, the design on top the tower is 100% natural .the wood is walnut and the abnormality is from a maple tree.
I ended up with many of these and the design changed as the slices were cut.
This is a jewelery box I made for a gift , the tower is for hanging necklace .
By the way this was made completely with hand tools .
the wood was cut from a walnut tree well over 100 years old and dried for several years ,,,I did use a chain saw to slice the stumps into sort of flat pieces and worked it down from there with hand tools .

Reclaimed barn wood
------------
reclaimed from the scrap pile , it was litteraly setting out in the rain to be tossed away.
Saved/ refurbished from the burn pile
This needed 2 doors rebuilt an veneer replaced .
Couldn't see it being destroyed

Nice work.

The Greatness officially starts
Greenie, Grayling, SS stand alone BS and BS SPT, jointer and belt sander, 3 Ers with Speed Changers. I think those 3 cover my ER needs, and space for them.

Sarge was always ready. Sadly, he's gone now. Been 4 years and we have two new ones. Still miss ole Sarge, though.Hobbyman2 wrote:+1
