There are some really fine projects posted here. I hate that the bandsaw box is in the process of being packed. I have made several of these and they are all different. I have one in process right now being made from a dogwood tree. But, below is one of the bandsaw boxes designed by Lois Keener Ventura.

That one's a real beauty, 'gator. Beautiful curves and craftsmanship. I'd love to see the dogwood box when it's done.
This is a pizza cutter and ice cream scoop made from a live oak that grows in this part of the country. One of my first turnings. Below is a colonial baby rattler that can knock the baby out cold. LOL

Much like me a lot of my projects are what many folks might consider a little odd. Certainly not "fine woodworking" but I enjoy them.
I do more conventional woodworking too but I don't have pictures of very much of it. I really enjoy the casual stuff more... Some of it is carpentry, some of it is like trim-work, some of it is whimsy and some of it is actual basic precision woodworking.
I originally learned to work from plans but almost never do. I work mostly out of my head and sometimes from a picture.
Of course all of it takes a back seat to the shop itself...
This Gypsy wagon was a throw together made for a certain purpose using some new stuff and some used stuff I had handy. I made it to mount on an existing pony trailer I had so that we could haul a small tractor (1947 Farmall Cub) I have to antique tractor shows and after it was unloaded we could sleep in the trailer. It served us quite well and drew a lot of interest. We also used it as a base while doing live demo's at a nearby living history museum. Since that time it has also done duty moving all manner of "stuff", mostly things that need to be out of the weather. A couple of times I have packed 60 bales of hay tightly inside. It has 4 heavy "D" rings inside at the corners to securely anchor the tractor. It is made so that I can easily remove the "box" from the trailer underneath so that I can use it for other purposes. I have not done so since I have several other trailers.

A year or so ago, my daughter wanted a pirate-themed toy box for my grandson, so I built a cedar chest. She asked if I could make it "look old and piratey", so I burned it with a torch
