I actually printed mine out correctly on the PC. I just kept adjusting the scale until, I got it right. You just have to print, measure, and adjust scale.sandyj wrote:Looks like my idea doesn't work on PCs - sorry guys.
The formula will work on a copier with a % function.
Basically:- New size Divided by Original size times 100 - gives you percentage for enlargement or reduction.
Now if you'll excuse me I'll find a big rock to crawl under.

Print adjustment using PC
Open the .pdf of the Vernier Tapes found above, thank you Nick. Right click anywhere in the graphic. At the bottom, click on 'Page Display Preferences'. On the left side of the window are 'Catagories:'. Select 'Page Display'. On the right, under 'Default Layout and Zoom', select zoom and manually enter the value you get using Sandy's formula, ie. (7.006/printed page actual measurement)*100. Then print and see what you get. I had to use 93.4% and it came out perfect. Then go back and reset the % to 'automatic' which is what it probably was to start with.
Hope this helps.
