35th Anniversary

Post by berry »

I got my Shopsmith new on March 14, 1982 - so raise a glass or two tonight and help me celebrate our 35 year partnership. Let's hope one of us lasts another 35 years.... I don't think it will be me.

Congratulations! Hope you get to enjoy plenty more.

This summer me and mine will be together for 41 years. Of course it has had a few upgrades over that time. Was a 500 and now a Mark 7 with powerpro. New red casters, dual tilt, quick adjust hubs and a few of the original pieces. Still it is my first one in heart if not in parts.

Congratulations! One of mine is a 1882 as well, but for it it's a second or third marriage. Seems to have settled for me!

You wouldn't have an extra set of legs for the Black and Decker Workmate I see hanging on the wall. I am almost lost without that work bench but one of the legs buckled a few weeks ago and she has been side lined. Mine has been a real work horse.

Here is a good example of where they should never have upgraded the original

Sorry I don't, but I've purchased used ones on CL for each of my kids. You may even find them under 'curb alerts'.
