OK so this camera plugs in to a phone or your computer and acts like an endoscope. It works with my computer and my phone but what I had really hoped for was to have it work with my tablet...... I have no love for this tablet and again it has disappointed me. It does look nice on the computer and ok on the phone. This is a sample from about 2" away:
I've not had much time to play with it but it might be useful. It seems a bit to flexible to use on its own going into tight places but we will see. It is also hard to figure out where "up" is unless you can see something you know like text. Waterproof, well is says it is.
I have project I'd like to do and I'm hoping this might work but I wish it had a bit longer focus, here is a picture at 5":
Well what do you expect from something like this for under $15???

Now you can look inside the headstock of your Shopsmith for troubleshooting problems.
