Finish your homework hobbyman2. There are at least four different arbors for the 510/520 alone.

Yes, it is called a saw blade arbor.

Saw blade arbor (1 1/4" or 5/8"), Shaper arbor (1/2"), Molder/Dado arbor (5/8", NOT for saw blades). That makes four.

There are four single blade arbors. There are the 1 1/4" (P/N 555130) and 5/8" (P/N 555608) arbors for the 500 and there are 1 1/4" (P/N 505511) and 5/8" (P/N 555321) arbors for the 510+.

The difference is the length of the arbor. The 500 saw table is smaller than the 510+ table.

A quick check of the SS catalog on this site would have shown you the available arbors. They are all still available.

Posted late 2015: "Bandsaw tire wArehouse (via eBay) offers USA-made 5/8 arbors specifically for your Mark V model. They are quite a bit more than from SS (about $55) but they have them in stock. Mine arrived in just a couple of days. I tried to order from SS but they were on back order and after SS extended the promise date for the third time I cancelled the order and paid more. The arbor fit like a glove and allowed me to start sawing. Maybe SS has them back in stock now. Always a good thing to support the company when you can."

In case SS still has trouble supplying the arbor for blades with 5/8 hole
