Shopsmith Mark v 500 Parts missing?
I have the 500 and I think I am missing some parts necessary to run the saw, etcetera.
If anyone could point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it.
Attached is a pic of the arbors etc that I have with it. One I dont believe goes with it (Far right) So what do I need to look for and am I missing anything else if I want to run the press, lathe and saw?
Thanks!

Download this pdf and then go to page 13 and have a look at what is listed to see what you have and what you might be missing. Most items are still order able from shopsmith.

I don't thing it is a shopsmith item. It looks like an arbor that would mount a wire wheel/grinding wheel/buffing wheel on a motor shaft.

Could it be the grinding wheel arbor without the grinding shield? http://www.shopsmith.com/ownersite/cata ... lguard.htm It is in the smaller picture in the middle of the page.

If it fits a 5/8" shaft, keep it.
It looks like a 'third' party arbor or a model 10 vintage.
Gotta ask: If you can take a picture of the sketch, why not the parts themselves???
Second item from the left has me stumped.(tailstock arbor???

Re: Shopsmith Mark v 500 Parts missing?
Drawing them and taking a pic was more convenient that going out to my building where it was dark lol.
The second arbor as I understand it goes into the drill chuck to mount on the other end like a tail stock mount. Seems like I read that somewhere. In fact now I remember, it was actually attched to the chuck, I had to take it out.
I have no way to attach anything to the shaft that comes out of the motor, so Im still looking for what kind of mount is used. I am looking now, it has been a long day.
