Set of plans for the forum...

Post by tom_k/mo »

If you've got a son, grandson or friend in Boy Scouts, or if you like to camp, here's a project file that would be beneficial. It's a set of plans for a Patrol Kitchen Box to store all your cooking supplies (pots, pans, utensils, soap, pot scrubbers, etc...), spices and can goods. The doors and lid can be used as preparation / cooking surfaces. The plans consist of an 11 page PDF file (7.2Mb) and can be downloaded HERE.

PS: Used the Plug-In version of CutList (V4.0) with SketchUp to make these plans. Works pretty well.
ShopSmith MarkV-520 with Belt Sander, Jointer, Band Saw, Strip Sander, Scroll Saw and Biscuit Jointer SPTs and a DC-3300...

Aspiring Sandcarver: Breaking glass one grain at a time.
Black Powder Shooter (love the smell of burning sulfur).

Can remember back in the days in scouts every troop had one for them. Even had one for the family when we went camping.

Like Bill, we used one for years as a dish/stove cupboard, cook top and table when we went camping.
