How to Assemble Tables?

So, I picked up an entire 510 table set (plus more stuff) off eBay.

All of it is disassembled. Is there a guide on how to put these together?

Even came with a new carriage and main table, all apart.

From that level of disassembly I do not believe there is any documentation,

I would start by sorting out and piling separately those things that you know or seem obvious.

Items like the main table along with the long rails and the extension or floating tables with the short rails. I think that it will fall in place a lot more easily than you anticipate.

Pictures of anything that you cannot identify would be helpful.

I think I got a decent deal, assuming everything is there. A main table, carriage, trunions for it, two floating tables, an extension table (with legs), fence, saw guard, two saw blades, saw blade guard, tubes, extension legs, featherboard, and a push stick.

For $410.

Now...how the heck do I put all this together?

Actually it is less apart then I first envisioned. Is there a packet of hardware somewhere in the pile, nuts bolts, studs, washers and the like?

Hopefully they are in that plastic bag but I do not see the four trunnion bolts and the thick washer that go with them; used to mount the table to the tie bar and leg assembly.

I also see the rod with the handle and two wedge locks for the carriage lock but I do not see the long spring that goes on that rod between the two wedges.

You might want to employ some assistance to install the carriage lock assembly. The spring makes it a bit difficult to assemble and secure the nut on the back end with just two hands.

Are all four of the bolt holes in the two trunnions (two holes in each) the same size. In some machines the holes in the rear trunnion are smaller than those in the other trunnion.

If this is the only feather board that you have, I would suggest that you budget for a couple more. One hardly ever does the job.

The bag contained the four trunnion bolts and washers, a saw arbor and two connectors for telescopic legs.

The rod and handle on the left I do not recognize but would guess that it is part of the carriage lock for a 500.

The carriage, though I cannot see all of the hardware that fits on the rod, appears to be complete.

When you get ready to install the carriage, I recommend that you put the Way Tubes in drill press configuration, remove all of the carriage lock hardware from the carriage, slide the carriage on the tubes and then install the carriage lock hardware.
