Mark VII belt

I tried reading up on the belt situation for the Mark VII, but there's a lot of ground to cover! So, if this has already been mentioned, please forgive me.

It seems like motor belt for the Mark VII is hard to come by, but I found this and I THINK it could work. Thoughts?

Sorry for the delay, I read this the other night and got distracted and did not come back to it.

30 1/2" seems to be close to correct length, but belt purveyors today measure with rubber rulers. Especially when referring to the top width. Most say 1/2", but few make one that wide. 'Back in the day' the belt was nearly 9/16".

I read through a lot, but there is a lot of ground to cover. It looked like you found a belt, but you needed an idler pulley to make it work.

I was hoping I could find a belt that would be a direct replacement.

As did I. We need to clarify what 'works' is. A 30.5" will work. But the narrower width shifts the speed range slightly. Hence the idler which compensated for that shift and also eliminated the belt wear on the gear rack.
