I don't know whether this depicts progress or not but this is todays state of being.

I cannot imagine where all of that "stuff" was when the shop "appeared to be" organized.

Those Rubbermaids are all full.

BTW, what area are you relocating to?

A hope, a constant goal, very elusive and apparently an impossible dream...

We are moving about as far as possible and still remain in Tucson. The house is in a subdivision south of I10 near Kolb. I guess you would call that the far south/east side of town. We now live on the north/west side (Ina and LaCholla). We are moving into our oldest daughters house and she is buying new.

Oldest grand daughter left this past weekend, moving to San Antonio area and is planning to build there.

Youngest grand daughter just sold their house and they are living in an apartment while their now home is being built.

I am planning to move all of the Shopsmith gear (Mark V, Shorty, two Power Stations, etc) without breaking it down. Does anyone have reason to advise against that.

when taking on a task of this size, load securement means every thing. don't load something that is too heavy for one person to unload just in case you get stuck unloading it your self.
Other then that best of luck and enjoy the new shop.

Good advise and I will follow it.

Having just experienced heart failure and acquiring a new pacemaker with defibrillator, I will follow it.

By the time we actually move I am hopeful that I will have been cleared for more aggressive activity than right now.

I wish I had a definitive answer. Originally, we planned to be there by the 4th. That has now slipped a bunch. It now looks like September. We delayed putting the house on the market at the request of someone who wants to buy it. However, selling the house is not a pacing item. We will move without having closed.

If it's on a weekend, we maybe could supply 4-5 young (35ish) helpers.
