Last Saturday morning I drove north, around 35 minuets, to Cowichan Bay to visit Paul Miller (Shipwright). We have communicated in the past on the internet but this was the first time we had met in person.
I was given a tour of his workshop/marquetry school, got to see his beautifully restored 10er, saw many of his exquisite marquetry projects, and was given a demonstration of the precision with which his chevalet cut veneer packets.
Then we had a nice chat over a cup of coffee and it was time to go.
Paul kindly sent home with me a clever diy SPT adapter and modified pulley/power coupler hub that had come with his 10er. Thanks again Paul.

I've been doing some clean up/reorganization in my shop so I can get 10er number three out of the back of my van. Then I can try out the rebuilt speed changer and the SPT adapters with the scroll saw I got last summer.

You're very welcome Ron. I was never going to use that adapter so I'm glad it is in the hands of someone who will. It was great to meet you and talk shop. We'll have to do it again.
