Thanks much for the photos, Dusty! I certainly appreciate these are not the views we wish to show, but they (the scraps) certainly become a portion of our shops that must be dealt with. I am learning, and hope to learn more about how others deal with their cutoffs, with the goal of making scrap become less of a nuisance.

Where do you keep these buckets and the cart?

The cart with three of the "cutoff containers" gets moved out of doors most of the time. The other two containers remain in the shop; one is an orange bucket with a seat (from ACE Hardware).

Now that you know what you are looking at, you'll see this entire mess in the photos I post. Some of what I post is sort of staged so you won't see the clutter all of the time. That is why some of you say my shop is organized when I know it is NOT.

I'm embarassed to do this but these are my scraps.

The second picture is where I thought ALL my scraps would fit.:D
The large pieces of wood on top of my workbench are now also "Scrapped" Explanation to follow in the blog.
