New bandsaw or old one.

Well answer me this. I has assembled a older (new in box with aluminum table) band saw. Asking 299 for it. Also have and used band saw with aluminum table with fence, extended table and circle cutter for 250. I believe they are all better than the older cast iron table. I believe they are all good and get what you want at the price you want to pay. They last forever if you take care of them.

I don't like the cover knobs that you have to use the allen wrench in order to get the cover off. Get some of the older style knobs.

Update,ended up swapping the cover to keep the windowed band saw cover and kept my old one that I upgraded the table with fence. It's done well for me and ended up selling my old 500 model with the new bandsaw simply to make space. Now I have 2 510s (one is modified into a perminant drill press) and my 520. I'll have to try again for a spare bandsaw, still in happy with my decision.
