When I get those calls telling me that my Windows computer is making errors, I simply tell them the truth. I don't have a Windows computer.

You could but in might not do any good. Check with your carrier first - and it doesn't work with cell phones.

Best response is "No comprrrreeende inglas"
If I get a call from a number I don't recognize I say, "Hola". Then if it is a person "Quien es?" Then "No comprrrreeende inglas"

Beeg beat me to it. I was going to suggest nomorobo. We've had it on our Comcast home phone since September and very few spam calls get through. If the phone rings once and stops, it means nomorobo intercepted it, so you just have to remember not to answer on the first ring. The service is free for home phones, but there's a charge for the Apple cell phone version (I think the Android version isn't available yet). The home phone version only works with VOIP phone systems like Comcast and FIOS, not the old POTS lines - your system has to allow you to forward calls to two different numbers.

I'm always surprised how often "Windows Support" is able to detect issues with my Mac so easily. :D
Thanks much,

The oldest computer can be traced back to Adam and Eve.

It was an Apple

But with extremely limited memory
