August Projects

Post by moggymatt »

Here is my 1st August project. But mostly July project. Most I could get in the shop at one time was no more than 15min. all month long.
Salted birch body, paduk lid, purple heart finial.

I'm pushing my size boundaries with this one.
Aspen - about 10" across, 12" high. Green wood turns easy!
Don't kow how it will turn out but I've Anchorsealed it and stuck it in a bag of its own shavings. Weighing it each month till it stops losing weight and then I'll see what's next.

Great looking container. As to the big aspen one, coming along great. I have a heck of a time turning apsen. Seems to shred instead of cut for me.
