why is the file on driveway an executable?

I know that Intel was bundling software with some of their webcams that generated video postcards as executables because they included the player in every file. it made the email attachments large and no recipient would run them without double checking with the sender.

assuming that file is a video, I would love to see it but running an executable from someplace like driveway is about as safe as ripping a dado in a long floppy board on the tablesaw with no push stick and without locking the table height.

any chance that you could share your info in a less dangerous format?

File is an executable because it contains the BROWSER. Your concern is valid.

PDF is not used because it doesn't support embeded URL's. Html isn't used because it doesn't maintain links to pictures on my disk that aren't on the internet. Plugging pics and URLs into this application is limited to 5 pics and 10,000 characters. That's why Reactivating a 1960 Mark V was split into 3 parts in Repair and Maintenance forum and it took four tries to get that in. ":mad: " The executable has the posted info, the completion info, and 10 more pictures.

Most ISP's scan for virsuses on downloaded files, your security software scans for virsuses, and operating systems scan for malware and spyware.

It would be a good idea to scan it, again, after it is scanned automatically by the download process and before you execute it. http://www.driveway.com/f0s6r8a4m6 Your concern is valid, part of the info is in the Repair and Maintenance forum w/o the URL's, pictures, and completion section. Too frustrating for PART 4.
