Do I have a problem?
Cleaning out a drawer tonight and realized I am addicted to glue. I can't pass the glue aisle at Harbor Freight without grabbing some! This is only from one hiding place!

No problem at all. If you ever need glue, you'll have it.

Not necessarily, some might say you are just stuck on a fixation. Stick to your guns... adhere to your principles... you know what folks say: Your word is your bond.
I'm sorry. Was that too tacky?

Problem Many glues have a shelf life.
I had a vast assortment myself but I found when I finally went to use them that they had out lived their shelf life. Some still worked, some were dried up and some just made a gooey mess.
I now keep one bottle of each usually the smallest bottle made.
Real intesting thing is how rapidly the glue world is changing. I keep finding better and better products. The Gorilla line seems to be the most inventive.

Re: Do I have a problem?
You are correct about shelf life. Usually applies to after opening the container - especially polyurethane glues. Epoxy has lasted years without going bad. Caulk (kinda a glue) will dry in an unused tube. I just threw three unused bad tubes away this week. It had turned into a clay like texture. Keep regular wood glues like Titebond cool, but protect from freezing.Ed in Tampa wrote:Problem Many glues have a shelf life.

Geeze! Sorry, Chris, but there is no justification that will allow me to comment here.
