It could only happen in Chicago.

Food vendors will soon have to post actual sizes, like lumber.
Then, we'll see internet posts about how the dough was a foot long before it was kneaded and placed in the oven.

Maybe companies should add ISH to all their claims to avoid lawsuits. Just think Subway could have avoided all of this mess if they just advertise a foot longish sandwich. Burger places could sell quarter poundish burgers instead of all this legalese about precooked weights etc. The world would be a simpler place.

Lumber yard guy: May I help you?

Me: I'm looking for a longish board.

LYG: Ok, we have a bunch of longish boards right over here. Were you looking for walnutish, oakish or mapleish?

Me: Oh, I'm not sure. Just something boxyish.

LYG: Uh... let me get my manager.

Gene, (and the rest of you) the bread
dough comes from the factory in
readymade sticks, Let them thaw out,
proof them, then bake them.

10 ER, stripped down.
Basic 10ER, Parts machine. Will be a semi-dedicated drill-press machine.
10 ER, a "survivor" of the trailer fire, in the back yard, needing restoration. Has a Mk5 headrest. Finally, stripped down.
Numerous parts, for Model 10 stuff. Except for lower saw guard, A and B adapters, I've got it.

Looking for one more, or some 9 inch extension table raisers.
