It has a dual bearing quill. It appears that its an old greene base with a head rebuild in 2001 must have sent his in they shopsmith just did a swap out . This unit looks to be just a parts unit for me It has the good working head unit I needed and works beautiful I will put this head on my 80s base. It also came with a jointer and jigsaw and pin router arm and it has the pins ! A bunch of arbors two 12in sanding disk lathe tools the old style greene table and ext I will most likely part out or trade of parts I dont need .
