Old Mk7 fence on MkV

Front - yes Rear - no. The MVII fence will overhang the MV table.

Could you then reduce the length of the Mark 7 fence to make it compatible with the with the Mark V table.

I doubt it would be worth the effort. There are far more used Mark 5/V fences out there than Mark VII.

I have not looked at it, but extending the table might be possible. I did that with a Mark 2 table so a Mark M5 fence 'fit'. The M2 table had a threaded hole that made mounting the extension easy. The M2 table is shallower than a M5 table.
