Humor runs in the family
My sister in law posted this .
You won't believe what happened to me earlier. I pulled in to get gas at a local station. Having only cash I had to pay inside, but as I was walking in, I noticed two cops watching a man who was smoking while pumping gas. I saw him and thought, "Is this man drunk, stupid, or just crazy?! With the cops right there too?!" But anyway, I went inside to pay, and as I was checking out, I heard someone screaming, knowing what was happening, I looked out the window and the man's arm was on fire! He was swinging his arm and running around going nuts! The officers had to take him to the ground and they put the fire out with their coffees! Then they handcuffed him and put him in the police car. I, being the curious person that I am, asked the cops why they were arresting him. One officer looked me square in the eyes and said ...
"WAVING A FIREARM!"

I have one that isn't a joke. It actually happened to me at the gas station a couple of months ago.
I was at a local gas station filling gas on my car. I drive an old Chevy Caprice that has the gas filler under the rear license plate like all cars did years ago.
I'm standing there filling the tank when a strange looking guy comes running up to me yelling to stop. I stopped and asked him why. He said I was putting gas in the trunk. This guy was around 30 and didn't know any better. Looking at him, he obviously was from a major city somewhere a long way from here and apparently didn't know any better.
It took quite a while to convince him that I knew what I was doing and where the gas tank was on my car.
Apparently our large cities aren't educating people much today and they aren't learning anything useful on the streets either.

Wonder what his reaction would be to a caddy getting filled under the tail light(fin)!

What did the traffic light say?
“ Do not look ............ I am changing!”
Sorry about that

So, it's useful for everyone to know that once-upon-a-time, long, long ago there were cars with the gas filler tube behind the license plate? I can bridle and saddle a horse, brand a calf, de-horn it, neuter bulls (while calves) , drive a tractor and make it turn on a dime. Big city kids weren't taught that when I grew up and neither were rural kids in the school. It's not much value to but a select few today.garys wrote:.
