Restoring bookmarks in firefox.
OK got them back, but, can only access them from the 'main' entry screen. How do I get the 'options'(bookmark...) back on the 'feature bar'?

Re: Restoring bookmarks in firefox.
Since I beta test windows 10 I've had to "fix" both my firefox and thunderbird at least a half dozen times in the last 3 months. That is why I posted the instructions that I did and if you were lucky enough to have the old file still there it would come back just like you left it, bookmarks, and all other settings. If the file was gone then it a start over on the settings even if you recover the bookmarks.
I assume you know the 3 horizontal bars on the far right is where the settings are done for what appears. To get you list back you can drag and drop them to that area. You can also edit the names to make them shorter and fit more on the line without having to go the drop down.
I make a lot of changes to firefox so I hate starting over.
BTW on Nov.14 or so firefox users will be move to Firefox Quantum. They hope it to be twice as fast. I'm running the beta on that too and it does seem much faster. It has also had to be reset twice..... not as stable as it will be but then the old stuff is not perfect. On the last crash report they told me I had sent in 272 reports but not when that started.....
Ah fun and games.
