For clarification: We are not allowed to buy and sell in the forums directly.

If you list on another site for sale: Put a link in the "Heads Up Bargain Available" Thread which is the top post in "Community Forum"

There is a Facebook Shopsmith Group https://www.facebook.com/groups/684461538311971/
where you also can buy and sell.

Magna was not making 10ER's in 1956.

Thank you Mr. Davis. I looked before posting, but didn't notice any restrictions. Sorry for the mis-use of the site. Incidentally, in response to one of the posts, I have the original 1956 owners manual. I can only repeat what I read.

Colin

I will see if I can donate it to a local high school.

Please post a picture of your 1956 manual. It will be interesting to all of us.

I doubt any 'school' will have any interest(other than running away) due to 'safety paranoia' especially if it IS a 10ER.

JPG, a LONG time ago, Magna had Model 10s in high
schools. It seems kids were smarter back then.

Guys, I just looked up Washoe Valley. It's near
Lake Tahoe.

10 ER, stripped down.
Basic 10ER, Parts machine. Will be a semi-dedicated drill-press machine.
10 ER, a "survivor" of the trailer fire, in the back yard, needing restoration. Has a Mk5 headrest. Finally, stripped down.
Numerous parts, for Model 10 stuff. Except for lower saw guard, A and B adapters, I've got it.

Looking for one more, or some 9 inch extension table raisers.

I have a line on picking up a 10 ER with a speed changer. My hesitation is that it was a Montgomery Ward Shopsmith edition. Are all the parts the same on the Wards model as the regular Shopsmith model? Are the parts interchangable?

Thanks for your help
