I was repositioning the tool rest the other day and one of the plastic handles broke off. Wasn't applying much pressure so I assume it was defective. I can still use the rest, but am having to use a pair of pliers to loosen and tighten the rest into position. I have contacted ShopSmith twice by email but no response. Does anyone know if there is a replacement part for the handle and also if there are suggestions on getting more functional rest. This one seems pretty limited.

You should be able to loosen/tighten the screw with an Alan key.
