Would this would be nice if you have an insurance claim due to loss or theft?

Photo's and a list are invaluable for insurance claims. I've no personal experience, however my late mother had an entire Hummel figurine collection stolen years ago and her saving grace was pride in her collection. She had several photo's taken of her display's along with an inventory sheet both which got her complete reimbursement from her insurance company.
