The 'issue' with portrait vs landscape is that the vertical limit(1180) is almost half the horizontal limit(2050).

Actually there are three limits height - width - total size. None of the three may be exceeded.

The "Iphone issue" is the result of the phpbb programmers refusing to implement the small amount of code that would be needed to properly display Iphone portrait photos (not flipped on their sides), that all other programs do.

But it is Open Source (free) software, and works well in all other respects, so what can you do.

The subtle(sorta) point I was making that instead of a WYSIWYG policy, apple added the "which way is the phone oriented" to the mix.

I think apple needs to add some code to send jpeg files as taken.

Please forgive me for chiming in on this post but I can't figure out how to enter a new post. I have a power station with a bandsaw on the left side of a rolling table and it has a drive on the right side. I installed the 12" sanding plate on the right side of the power station. There are mounts at the base of the bandsaw that look like they should be on the right side of the power station but they are on the left. Is there a way to mount a SS table for what you want to set the stock on to be able to use the sander?

First, when you click on a forum topic, in this case "Beginning Woodworking", there is an Icon at the top of the page that says "New Thread". Click on that and you can start a new thread/topic.

As far as the Power Station is concerned, no you can not mount the SS main table on it. It was never designed to do that. It was designed to mount SPT's. The right side shaft is there basically because they could due to the design of the MK V. The drum sanders can mount there and so can the disk sander. They both can be used as long as you don't need a table.

If you want the ability to mount the SS main table you need a Crafters Station. It is basically a Power Station with the added carriage to mount a main table on the left side.

Welcome, Mike! John (jsburger) covered the new-thread question, and I do believe that he is correct about mounting a main table to the Power Station. But my handy-dandy PDF copy of the manual says that an auxiliary table can be used for sanding-disc purposes. My apologies if the page below is sideways, but it looks fine on my iPad, and I’m feeling too lazy to avail myself of a PC!
