Don't rush it! Follow the directions provided by Shopsmith closely. View the DVD until you feel that you understand! THINK!

Looks like I’ll have to wait a bit on the install. I go through my goodie box and no dvd. Luckily CS was awesome and got one shipped out to me along with the stickers and new instructions for the Pro Planer. Now we wait. (Insert Jeopardy music here)

I'll echo what Dusty said, take your time and don't rush it. The video is a very good step by step process. Read through the manual a few times and if you can have the dvd going in your shop while you do the upgrade that will help. This is also a good time to shine up the rails and and put a coat of paste wax on all surfaces. If you ordered the larger casters this would be a great time to install them while the head is off. You will appreciate how easy you can move it across the floor.

Also echo Dusty. Each individual step is not that difficult. Just take it step by step and it will go fine.

I just ordered my double tilt from Lowe's, using my 10% veterans discount.

Between Lowe's price & the discount, plus free shipping to Alaska I saved about $175!

Now, let's see how long it takes to get here!

I've got the upgraded casters, and the PP, so now I will be using my old headstock to build a Shop Deputy.
