Dont want to hijack the thread about the va card

I found this on the web about the 1911 details in case any one is interested
looks like a few collector guns are in the mix.

In my opinion, no handgun is useful for hunting. They lack accuracy and killing power. We have high powered rifles for that.

I agree , in ohio a hunting rifle for deer must have a straight wall shell ,, basically a pistol shell , it is not a gun I would want to use over 20-30 yards .

I wouldn't mine owning one even if I never fire it providing the cost isn't too high.

I qualified with one before going to VN but our unit was not issued them nor could we request them but some guys circumvented that and carried them. As a dog handler I had enough stuff to carry that I would not have wanted the extra weight of the hand gun and ammo. Besides I had a car 15 which was already a weapon of choice for dog handlers in out unit.

I figured there would be a few members from V/N that may want one.
