Bandsaw Dust Port

Bandsaw Dust Port
I needed a part for a Hoover Windtunnel vacuum and have noticed these vacuums at thrift stores lately. Bought one for $7 (overpriced but I needed the part). As an added benefit I salvaged some things including this which works beautifully with my bandsaw and shop vac. A 2" hole saw (saw from the inside), some hot melt glue and it's finished. Note that the hose locks to the port - a nice tough.

Hmmm... locking hose at the bandsaw, that's actually a good idea!

Re: Bandsaw Dust Port
If I had a choice there would be a locking hose on the Lower Saw Guard before I would put one on the Bandsaw but why not locking hoses everywhere.
