Need a Copy of a Procedure

Post by dusty »

I have all of my documentation packed away for the pending move which will commence today when our POD is delivered. However, I need to adjust the vertical slide bar that guides the upper backup bearing(s).

If someone would send me by email or post here on the forum a copy of the Shopsmith procedure for accomplishing this task, it would be greatly appreciated. I have attempted this alignment without the procedure and I have my bandsaw really screwed up. Just that portion of the procedure that covers this task. I don't need the whole manual.

I have extracted the instructions for this task from a thread on the forum but I would also like to reread the Shopsmith instructions. I have attempted this procedure several times and every time given up. I get it close but never like I think it should be. With my shop temporarily out of commission I need tasks that I can use to occupy my time. This seems like a good starter.

While we are waiting for the new residence I hope to have access to my Shorty, bandsaw, belt sander and maybe jointer. Just those items that can be kept within the footprint of the Shorty.

Shopsmith has the bandsaw manual online now, Dusty.

Thank you very much. This is greatly appreciated and I embarrassed to admit that I completely overlooked this data resource. This makes my day.
