I used the jigsaw for the 10ER and was impressed with how it worked. This is my first real project, I have played with it cutting things like car profiles and Christmas trees, but this is the first relief project. Used chisels, dremel, sanding block, and a pad sander to do the 3D.
45 Anniversary today, surprised her early this morning. She shed tears of happiness She loved it. Has a self made anniversary card inside.

Fantastic project, Dick, and congrats on the big anniversary! I haven’t seen that type of relief work before on a scroll project, and I really like it.
My own 30th anniversary is coming up in a couple of weeks, and I think you may be sparking some ideas.

Thanks guys. JPG, it didn't really take long. I did my standard narrow strip glueup with 3/8 thick stock sanded/planed to 1/4. The glue up is over night, machining about 15 min. Used packing tape over the panel and then spray adhesive to hold the pattern (a word document with the Celtic Knot and the number script) on the panel. A couple of days to do the scroll work, another 3 or 4 hours to do the relief work with chisels, Dremel, and sanding. Oiled the wood and over nighted that and then rattle can sprayed a lacquer on it. That dried two days and then I gave it to her.
Piece of cake ....
In reality, one of the most nerve wracking things I have done in WW so far. The closer I got to finish, the worse it got.

I have never thought I could carve anything but that makes me want to try. A beautiful job!
