Woodworking Shows

Post by ChrisNeilan »

It's the season for the Woodworking Shows. My region's show is the weekend of Jan 12th to 14th. I am glad that this year Shopsmith will be there. Been a couple of years since they were involved. Bought my PowerPro at that show a few years back. For anyone interested here's a link: http://www.thewoodworkingshows.com/

Thanks Chris. The show is coming to Columbus the following weekend, and it wasn’t even on my radar screen. I went last year for the first time, and really enjoyed it.

The shows should be informative, but I see that the closest show to me is around 800 miles and farther yet.

Don't see Shopsmith listed for the Tampa show. Guess I will stay home.

Sorry Dusty! The shows seem to concentrate on the Eastern part of the country for some reason. Also, not all the shows will have a Shopsmith booth.

My son is taking me to the show , Saturday Jan 13, for my Christmas present. Looking forward to it, then watching some play-off football at his house when we get back.

They've made it to Indianapolis this weekend. Lots of folks jammed into the show Saturday, probably trying to beat the snow coming on Sunday.

Andrew was the Shopsmith guy regaling several interested folks there. The booth was in a nice spot, close to the entrance, and close to the Veritas / Lee Valley booth.

I didn't buy anything just yet, but I did ogle the 520 rail system and the double tilt system.

My wife had mentioned that Indy show to me recently but I forgot about it being this weekend. I've become kind of luke warm on woodworking shows... I'm not really in the market for much. I'd be happy to just get the stuff I have in a decent level of organization so I can use it easily. :o :o I am making decent progress right now but it's slow, you have to move everything 50 times. :)
Maybe I'll get to the next show...
