greenie jointer extension table
Has anyone ever extended the jointer of an old greenie jointer? I have one that I would like to extend, but all info I've seen to do so is for newer models from 70s or newer...

I am not sure why that is a problem. The SS jointer is essentially the same since Magna made the first one (Model 4E) for the 10ER in the early 50's. What issue are you having with your jointer?

Re: greenie jointer extension table
The recent extension by Nick in a saw dust session(????) utilized a 'rib' on the back end of the outfeed table. Older version(s) do not have that 'rib'.

As mentioned, there is no lip to utilize for support. I would like to extend it, and leave it on jointer, since I never remove it anyway. My shop is also one side of a two car garage, which does have a car in there unless I am working, so everything is mobile, including my workbench. When done, all gets tucked against walls and car brought in.
