This is a star shaped bowl I made on the bandsaw. It turned out nice but it was a long process with all the hand sanding.

That star-shaped bowl is fascinating — I’m already trying to figure out what you did for the interior. How about starting a new thread (so as not to hijack Fred’s thread here), and maybe show us some in-process pics of your stuff? Your segmented bowls look terrific too — I especially like the pattern used on #1.

I don't mind if anybody adds their projects to this thread, the more the better, it will keep it from rolling off the end of the earth. I will not be adding to it myself, I'm going to start a new thread documenting my wooden radio controlled Star45 sailboat project. Fred

I can’t take credit for the design, got the idea from a bowl on the interweb. I’ll only make two, one for the wife and one for her friend.
